5D is a private space for two — built around one idea: the person you are closest to deserves a chat that is actually private, not just password-protected.
There is no feed, no follower count, and no stranger who can arrive uninvited. A pairing is two people, and it stays two people.
The goal is simple: help two people stay close, wherever they each are.
Moments
A shared album that knows where and when, and can be searched by what is in a picture — without us learning what is in it.
Calls
Video and voice, direct between your phones wherever that is possible, and through a relay that cannot read them when it is not.
A calendar for two
Plans the two of you keep together, and the ones worth marking. We can see that Thursday matters, never what it is.
Where you each are
A time zone, a walk you share for an hour, or a pin that is yours to switch off. There is no history behind the pin.

Privacy, said plainly
What the two of you write, photograph, record and say to each other is encrypted on your device before it reaches us. We hold the encrypted bytes.
Most of the app's privacy settings cannot be changed by one of you alone. One proposes, the other approves in their own app, and until then nothing moves. That is deliberate: a promise one partner can quietly revoke is not a promise.
By default we also hold a wrapped copy of your pairing's key, so the features that read a photograph or write you a story can work. That is encryption at rest with per-couple keys — not end-to-end encryption, and we do not describe it as such. Vault mode destroys our copy and makes it so, free, on every tier.
